  Received a liberal education for his time; was Parish Clerk, many of the witchcraft proceedings are still to be seen in his handwriting; was sergeant and participated in the Narragansett Fight. —— Thomas Putnam Jr., along with Thomas’s wife Ann and their oldest child Ann, are considered the most prolific accusers during the Salem witch trials of 1692.
