  s/o George TROW —— Went to Canada with Capt William RAIMENT [RAYMOND]. Was wounded, shot in the back. Paid in paper money which soon became worthless. "George Trow, wounded in the back by a ball." Col. Robert Hale put in a successful petition to the General Court in 1735 on behalf of the officers and men of Capt. Raymond's company, for land to form a township six miles square. He thought they should be remembered for the great hardships that they had endured.
