    • Levi, the eldest son, born April 10, 1782 in Saco, ME and married in September, 1802, Betsey, a daughter of Thomas Millett, the fourth pioneer at the head of a family to settle in the Plantation. They settled on the farm now owned by A. Dascomb and there spent their lives. He was a man of prominence in his town and county, and held many offices in both. As a Justice of the Peace it was said of him,"He united more people in marriage than any man in the county."He was of worth to the people in the capacity of civil engineer and did an extensive business in running and establishing lines.He died of typhoid fever at the age of 49 years. Buried: Knapp-Fish Cemetery, Leeds, Maine. [1]
