  James FRIEND moved from Manchester, Mass. to Wenham, Mass. where he and his family lived and where he and his wife were members of the Congregational church, he being a deacon of the church. They had 2 sons and 3 daughters. —— He move to Wenham where he was a deacon of the church from Jan 8, 1703 until his death (Wenham First Church Records).
