      Jacob and Elizabeth Hamblen lived on the hundred acre lot 42, in Gorham, ME, the same owned by his father [McLellan, p. 536]. He built a two-story house on the farm. He was not much in public business [McLellan, p. 536].

      Jacob Hamblen died 17 Oct. 1826 in Gorham, ME [VR Gorham ME, p. 179], and was buried at South Street Cemetery, 17 South Street, Gorham, ME.
