    • s/o Robert, king of Scots & an unknown mistress. 

      His father provided him with an annual allowance and granted him the lands of Liddisdale which had been forfeited by de Soulis. Between 1320-1326 Robert was also granted the lands of Fornauchi and Goulentyn in Perthshire, which had formerly belonged to the Menzies. In a confirmation charter granted by David II in 1342 he is referred to as "our dearest brother. [1]
