      WALKER--James Wear, of Hobe Sound Fla., formerly of Oyster Bay, New York,died on August 30 after suffering a heart attack. Son of the founder ofthe international Walker Cup competition, he was a lifelong golfer anddevoted family man. Husband of the late Sara Mitchell Walker. Survivedby brother Louis of Hobe Sound, daughter Hilary Walker Gilmore of Ore.,stepdaughter Sheila O'Keefe Todd of Colo., stepson John O'Keefe of MA;grandchildren: William Walker Todd, Whitney DeForest Todd, James BridgerTodd, James Tucker Gilmore and Eliza Fahy Johnstone Gilmore; onegreat-granddaughter, many nieces and nephews. Family services will beheld September 5 in Kennebunkport, Maine.
