• Notes

  Jeremiah was born on the farm of his father in Lyndeboro, and removed in 1794 to Barre, Washington Co., Vt, where he cleared his farm on "East Hill"; many of the old stumps were still in fences in the 1880's. The farm continued in possession of his son David. After his death in1888, his son Edwin had the farm, until he sold it about 1900, removing with his mother and family to Barre City.
