  Physician was Henry E. Brandt, MD; funeral home was McDivitt-Hauge Leland Chapel Suffered from severe diabetes late in life. Lived final years at Walker Nursing home. —— The Minneapolis Journal, 5 Mar 1902 Hastings, Minn., March 5.—The home of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Cecil was the scene of a pretty wedding last evening, when their daughter, Miss Emily L. Cecil, and Albert J. Hanson were united in marriage, Rev. Jabez Blackhurst officiating. Miss Lydia A. Edwards of Dowdle, S. D., was bridesmaid, and Reuben M. Cecil of Minneapolis, a brother of the bridge, best man. Following the ceremony a pleasant informal reception was held, about fifty being present. The bride is a popular you lady. The couple left of the late train upon a wedding trip to Minneapolis and will be at home to their friends after the 20th.
