    This is a combined household, containing Isaac (now called Sr), brother Thomas, wives of both men- who are widows, and their children from previous marriages. We note that Squire Ayres, Dorcas's son from her previous marriage is NOT present in the household, as he would be listed as a Male 16-25. The additional under 10 daughter in this census is Jean's child from a previous marriage as noted in court documents provided below. Thomas and Jean had no children of their own until abt 1822, when their first son (Isaac) was born.

  • Notes 
    • In July, 1835, there was ordained a young man who subsequently as pastor and supply preached on and off for about 50 years. This was the venerated Isaac Wynn, who united by baptism in December, 1831. His name is long and honorably associated with the Church’s history (Great Bethel in Fayette, PA). [2]
