  John Dolloff (Sr) was from New Hampshire, was a farmer and land owner. He was a signer of the Association Test and contributed to the war efforts. He is listed as a "Patriot" by the NSDAR. This John (Sr) and his sister, Margaret, had been "stolen by Indians" when John was a 2 year-old, and his sister was six years of age. They were held captive for at least six years in Morryall (sic) in Canada.
