• Notes

  He settled in Framingham near his father, his house being located about 45 rods southerly from what was known in later years as the Charles Clark house. The old records contain the following entry: 'Isaac Gleason was chosen to and accepted of the care of our publick meeting house, to sweep and keep it clean for the year 1713, and to have 19s for said service'. In 1710 Isaac is recorded as an inhabitant of Sherborn and received a share of common lands. He was on the tax list for that year, rated 7s. There is no way of knowing whether he moved or they just changed the town boundaries. He was constable in Framingham in 1714. Isaac and Deborah were the parents of four children: Deborah 1703-?, Isaac 1706-1777, Prudence 1708-?, and Phineas 1711-?.
