    • Rebecca WASHBURN(3072) died on 20 Apr 1764 in West Bridgewater, MA.(3073)(3074) Edsons In England And America: "Their graves are in TrinityProtestant Episcopal Church graveyard in Bridgewater." MF5G:12, says in"West Bridgewater."
      Curiously:
      Another death record P. 205 (West Bridgewater VR) has a wife of Capt.David, Bethia, dying, April 20, 1764, in 67th year! Birth was thus about1697 for this "Bethia." She was born unknown in Bridgewater, MA.(3075)(3076) Rebecca, as a child of Joseph is as yet unproved, and she has previously been given to John 3--but whether of this Joseph or another of the numerous Washburns, it is probable that she is of eitherMayflower Chilton or Cooke descent (perhaps both) through John Washburn.If she is Joseph's child as suggested by MF5G:12, she has a dual line through both families through her mother Latham, and her father's ancestor John Washburne. VOL 12 of MF5G, issued in 1996, includes her asa possible child of Joseph and continues her lineage with the prefix (A).
      If this relationship is correct, Rebecca's Washburn's brother, Joseph Washburn, marries Hannah Johnson, sister to David Johnson, her new husband..
