    • Enlisted, service; was in Capt E. Daniels's company, of New Hampshire State Troops, at Fort Sullivan, in 1776; was enlisted or drafted in December, 1776, for three months service for Kittery, and probably served in Capt Wm Holbrooks's company, Col John Frosts's regiment of Massachusetts State Troups, for service in Connecticut and New York.

      Enlisted, or drafted, July 10, 1770, as sergeant of Capt T Cutts' company, of Major D. Littlefield's battalion, in Penobscot expedition. Discharged, Sept 10, 1779.

      s/o William and Anne (Staples) Brooks of Kittery. Married Abigail Fernald, Dec 5, 1776, at Kittery, both residents of the town.
