  • Notes
    • It is said that Lydia Bruno and children moved first to Boise, and then to Spring City, and then back to Boise. On her way back to Boise, Scott jumped out of the wagon at Freedom and rode a horse back to Moroni. He told his mother he was going and she let him go. He was only 12 at this time. He got a job in Moroni for 25 cents a day. He also worked for people who had sheep. There is a story in a Spring City book of Scott being punched in the face by a man stealing sheep and Scott was one of the ones who helped catch him. it is in "Life Under the Horseshoe" page 101. Another history says that in 1933 Scott decided to go into the turkey business and he was overcome by carbon monoxide gas while brooding turkeys. Hilda only lived thirteen months after that.
