  • Notes 
    • Harold worked as a young man in Boston, driving truck. It was there that he met Lil Bernstein. They lost a stillborn son in 1929, and weredivorced shortly after. During the depression, he came back to Northfield to live with his mother and worked the CCC Camp in Warwick, MA. He met Mildred at a dance in Warwick. Harold also served in the U.S. Navy in the early 1920's aboard the USS Arkansas.
