  • Notes
    • Lexington Alarm. Capt Thoms Eustis. Col of Minute Man Militia.

"He probably removed to Brookfield with his father's family. He married Temperance Packard of Brookfield, a descendant of Samuel, the first of the Packards that came over to this country. They had eight children... He bought a farm in Rutland, June 18, 1771, removed from Rutland to Pelham in 1786, and in 1788 bought the farm in Hardwick. This farm afterwards became the homestead of his son Timothy. Both John and his wife united with the church in Hardwick by letter from Rutland, October 1, 1789."«s24»
