  Abigail inherited thirty pounds from her father's estate. After her father's death, her mother moved to West Bridgewater to live with Abigail until her death in 1727. From her mother, Abigail received one-third of the wearing apparel of her grandmother Mary (Watson) Leonard, miscellaneous household items and money (some of it to be given to her dead sisters' children) and with the stipulation that she quit her interest in her father's wearing apparel. Abigail married Ephraim Howard (or Hayward, as it appears in some sources), the s/o Ephraim Howard of Bridgewater, who was born in 1697. He was the grands/o John Howard (Hayward) who was brought up by Miles Standish and became his right-hand man. Ephraim was a representative to the General Court in 1723. Abigail and Ephriam lived and raised their family in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts Bay Province.
