  Obit: BLUE HILL - Michael Dana Conary, 55, died Thursday, July 31, 2008, with his loving family by his side. He was born Aug. 19, 1952, in Augusta, Ga., the s/o Dana and Ailean (Staples) Conary. Michael lived in Pensacola, Fla., from 1956 to 1971, at which time he moved to Blue Hill for a year. In 1972 he moved back to Florida. He built fishing boats for a few years, after which he moved to Crestview, Fla., where he worked as an exterminator for Killingworth's Exterminator and became certified in exterminating with the state of Florida. In 2005 Michael moved back to Blue Hill and cared for his Grandmother Staples, until her death. Michael is survived by his devoted wife, Margo (Friend) Conary; his parents; three sisters, Janet and her husband, Dennis, Jean and Joan; three nephews, Martin, Russell and Jesse; one niece, Regina; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. He is also survived by dear friends, Greg and Lisa Killingsworth, and William Babson, along with many others. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Harold Conary and Mabel Conary; and his maternal grandparents, John F. Staples Jr. and Ella Staples. Family and friends will gather for a graveside service 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7, at Rural Cemetery, Sedgwick, with Layman Allen Treadwell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory may be made to Blue Hill Memorial Hospital, Director of Development, 57 Water St., P.O. Box 823, Blue Hill, ME 04614 or CancerCare of Maine, 489 State St., Bangor, ME 04401. Arrangements are under the direction of Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 28 Elm St., Bucksport.
