Countryman (1832- ) was born in Orleans, New York, moved to Minnesota at 1855, settled in Hastings, Minnesota, graduated from Hamline University, Red Wing, Minnesota, in 1861, served during the American Civil War, was engaged in the slae of threshing machines, moved to Minneapolis, and died in Minneapolis.  [1]
