      ABSALOM W. SUTTON
      Absalom Ward Sutton, 66, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Lena Ansell, of near Fairchance, Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, following a lingering illness.
      Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mary Sutton; seven children, Guy and Robert Sutton, of Fairchance; Herbert Sutton of Doran, N.C.; Reuben A. Sutton, of Smithfield; Mrs. Lena Ansell, of Fairchance; Mrs. Nancy Cooney, of Dayton, O.; and Mrs. Bessie Core, of Morgantown, W. Va.; 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. John Gaskell, of Uniontown, and four brothers, Frank, William, Thomas and Jesse Sutton, of Fairchance.
      Friends are being received at the Sharp funeral home in Fairchance until Thursday afternoon when funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock in the Fairchance Free Methodist Church. Rev. Snyder will officiate. Burial will follow in the Fairchance Cemetery.
