  m2 Sarah JENKINS, w. of Daniel STONE They hade one son, Joseph MESERVY (1739—1817) —— Clement Meserve, son of the immigrant Clement, was born in Portsmouth, NH about 1678. He was in William Redford's Co. Militia in 1696, and on Sept. 24, 1702, he married Elizabeth Jones. He lived in Newington, NH on his father's homestead, where he had gone from Portsmouth and stayed there until 1726, when he and Daniel Moody bought 100 acres of land in Scarborough, Maine and, in 1729, 150 acres more. This land was held by his heirs who sold it to William Vaughan. His Will was probated Nov 5, 1746.
