  s/o Henry BEAUMONT & Joan HERONVILLE NOWELL m1 —?— m2 Eleanor SUTTON —— On 27 October 1452 his mother was forcibly abducted by Edward Lancaster of Skipton in Craven, Yorkshire while she was attending Mass in the chapel of Thorpe in Balne, Yorkshire, and made to go through a bigamous marriage ceremony to Edward Lancaster. At the time Henry's future stepfather Charles Nowell was contracted to marry his mother. Henry and Charles petitioned Parliament, and his mother seems to have been returned to marry Charles Nowell; she was living at Thorpe when Henry came of age in 1460.
