  George Everett Wilson was born on a farm in Lebanon (now Apple Valley), Dakota County, MN in 1869 to George Layfayette Wilson and Sarah Foster Wilson. He married Winifred "Winnie" Countryman on Sept 12, 1894 in Minneapolis, MN where they resided until their deaths. George worked as a locomotive engineer for the Soo Line Railroad. He died from pneumonia at the age of 49 just two years after the death of his wife Winnie.  George and Winnie had three children, Roseabell, Arthur and Gladys. All five are buried together at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis. [1]
