  It is recorded that Roberte Sollers, born about 1595 in Kempsey, Worcestershire, England was united in marriage there with Ann Childe on 22 Jan 1617. According to christening records and birth records, etc., to this union were born six children: Elyzabeth, Apurloyne, Henry, William, John, and Robert. The christening of the first three is recorded. The christening records of the last three have not been located.  According to records of Anne Arundel County, Maryland in the Americas, John Sollers' place of birth was Worcestershire, England in the vicinity of the Parrish Church of Seaverne Stoke where his kinsman and fellow Marylander, Richard Selway, was from. This place is but a short distance from Kempsey in lower Worcestershire, England near the Gloucestershire border. The only people of the Sollers name or like spelling during this period in all of Worcestershire, are found in Kempsey, further suggesting that this is John's birthplace and that Roberte and Ann Childe Sollers are his parents, and their children his siblings.
