  Ancestor to President Ronald R. REAGAN —— They joined the Newington church 20 Sep 1724 and had three children baptized there. (Mary, Deborah, Sarah) By 1726 - the family were tenants on the Packer farm in Greenland, and were admitted to the Greenland church in 1728. 1735 - the family moved to Scarborough, Maine. 22 March 1741/2 - Richard was appointed constable of Scarborough. He appears to have died by 1757 when his son Benjamin Carter sold land and a house owned by Richard. Sarah survived Richard, and on 15 July 1763 "Widdow Catter" was buried. [2]
