    • BALDWIN I, OF FLANDERS (Anacher Great Forester), the Forester called "Iron Arm" on account of his great strength, some say on account of his being constantly in armor. He married the Princess Judith, daughter of Charles, “the Bald,” King of Aguitenia and Neustria, or in other words the greater part of modern France. He built castles at Bruges and Ghent to defend the country against the Normans. He died at Arras in 877«s106»
