    • He appears on tax lists in 1766 (Canajoharie, NY) and 1790 (Palatine, NY); he served in Yates Militia in 1760.

      1790 census, Palatine, Montgomery County NY; Andrew Fort 1m 16+, 4 m under 16, 5 females. Only other Fort in county is Abijah Fort 1-4-1 who is listed as Abijah Ford in 1800.

      The 1760 Yates muster roll for Albany County says "Fort, Andrew, enlisted April 9, age 21, born Germany, laborer, 5' 8-1/2” tall."
