His second wife Pearl died in 1999, ----- Tim had many interests and was a licensed airplane pilot and flight instructor, master mariner, licensed real estate broker, licensed pharmacist, and licensed in other fields. He was the manager of the Conroe Airport for many years. He was sitting in a C-152 with an instrument student pilot (Ed Follett), laughing and joking one minute, and then suddenly quiet. Tim was an astute businessman and a good friend.
