Appraisal of inventory Administrator's account Final account dated 15 May 1810 In the Name of God, Amen; I Nicholas Yost of York Township in the County of York and State ofPennsylvania yeoman, bei n g aged, infirm and Weak in Body û but of Sounddisposing Mind, Memory and understanding, tha n ks be unto God for all hisMercies, do therefore think Proper and Convenient to make thi s m y LastWill and Testament in manner and form following. That is to Say,Principally and fi rs t of all I commend my Soul into the Hands ofAlmighty God who gave it, and my Remains to b e d ecently buried at thediscretion of my Friends and Relations. And as touching my Worldl y Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this Life, I giveand dispose of th e sa me as follows, Viz Imprimis It is my Will and I do hereby order that all my Just Debts andFuneral Charges sha l l be fully paid and Satisfied; out of my Estate assoon as may be after my decease by my Exe c utors herein after named orthe Survivor of them. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Beloved wife Catharine, the Bed &Bedstead wherein we no w l ie with everything thereunto belonging and sixSheets, also a Chest, the little Walnut Tab le , three good Chairs, threeTable Clothes, my Big Hymn Book, and a Book called a True Christ ia nity,a good Cow, a Wash Tub, a Pail, a large and a Small Iron Pot, a PewterDish & Bason, f o ur Pewter Plates and four Spoons, a Frying Pan andSkillet, three Ladles and a Skimmer a Fle s hfork, Oil Jug and Lamp, a TeaKettle, Coffee Pot, Tea Ware, and two white Baskets. And t h e residue ofmy Personal Estate, I will and do hereby order that the same shall besold at P u blic Vendue as soon as may be after my decease by my Executorshereinafter named or the Surv i vor of them. Item, I will and do hereby order that my Executors hereinafter named orthe Survivor of th e m furnish my said wife yearly and every year duringher Natural Life, at the expence(sic ) o f my Estate with a Comfortabledwelling House with a garden and Stabling for a Cow, on To n o f good Hay,ten Bushels of good Wheat, eight cords of Fine Wood, eighty Pounds ofPork, fif t y Pounds of Beef twelve pounds [next page] pounds of Heckled Flax, Six Pounds of Wool, and eight PoundsLawful money of Pen n sylvania in Specie. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Son Abraham Yost the sum of fiveshillings, in Specie, whi c h is to be in full for his share out of myEstate both Real & Personal he being heretofore a d vanced and because Ihave often times been evilly treated by my said son's wife (and for oth er reasons best known to myself) give and bequeath the share or Portionwhich was intende d b y me for my said son unto the Children lawfullybegotten by him to be paid to them in Mann e r & Form hereinaftermentioned. Item, I will and do order that my Executors hereinafter named or theSurvivor of them shal l a t the Expiration of the Lease or Leases of myLands and Tenements or at any other convenie n t time sell the Same atPublic Vendue to the best Advantage, And I do hereby fully impowe r m yExecutors hereinafter named or the Survivor of them û to make and executesuch Deeds or C on veyances unto the Purchaser or Purchasers of my saidLands and Tenements, in as full and am pl e a manner to all intents andPurposes as I myself might or could do, at this present time. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Conrad Laub intermarriedwith my Daughter Mar y E lizabeth and to his Heirs and assigns the Sum ofthirty nine Pounds in Specie to be paid a s s oon as may be after mydecease. Item, I give and bequeath unto my Son in Law Francis Streithoffintermarried with my Daught e r Anna Elizabeth the Sum of thirty ninePounds in Specie, to be paid to him his Heirs or Ass i gns as soon as maybe after my decease. Item, I give and Bequeath unto my Son in Law Jacob Bernhart intermarriedwith my Daughter Ca t harine and to his Heirs and Assigns the Sum ofthirty nine Pounds money aforesaid to be pa i d as soon as may be after mydecease. And after the decease of my said Wife I further give and bequeath unto mysaid Son in Law Co n rad Laub and to his Heirs and Assigns the Sum ofForty seven Pounds. And to my said Son i n L aw Francis Streithoff and tohis Heirs and Assigns the sum of Forty seven Pounds money afo res aid.And to my said Son in Law Jacob Bernhart and to his Heirs and Assigns the Sum of Forty seven Pounds money aforesaid. And to the Children of my Son Nicholas deceased, I give and bequeath the Sum of Forty seven Pounds money afores aid, to be equally divided amongstthem and their Heirs and Assigns share and share alike whe n t heyrespectively arrive to the age of twenty one years. And the residue of my Estate (if any) I will and do order that the sameshall be divided in t o five equal Parts or Shares one equal fifth partthereof I give & bequeath unto my said Son - in-Law Conrad Laub, and tohis Heirs and Assigns, one other equal fifth part thereof I giv e a ndbequeath unto my said Son in Law Francis Streithoff and to his Heirs andAssigns, One ot he r equal fifth part thereof, I give and bequeath unto mySaid Son in Law Jacob Bernhart an d t o his Heirs and Assigns, One otherequal fifth part thereof I give and bequeath unto th e Chi ldren of mysaid son Nicholas deceased, to be equally divided amongst them Share andShar e al ike, when they respectively arrive to the age of twenty oneyears. And the other equal f ift h part thereof I give and bequeath tothe Children lawfully begotten by my said Son Abraha m t o be equallydivided amongst them and their Heirs & Assigns share and share alike,when th e y respectively arrive to the age of twenty one years. And Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint George Stake Esquire and mysaid Son in Law Conr a d Laub or the Survivor of them to be the Executorsof this my Last Will and Testament to exe c ute the Same according to thetrue intent & meaning thereof. Ratifying and Confirming thi s a nd noother to be my Last Will and Testament, In Witness whereof I havehereunto Set my Ha n d and Seal the eighth Day of March in the year of ourLord one thousand Seven hundred and ei g hty Seven.
