    • Donald Keck Dodds married Zella P. Newman in Bonaparte Iowa 23 Jul 1919. She died 14 May 1920. Donald and Zella never had children due to her early death. He then Married Grace M. Hufford and had 3 children. They were't married until after 1920.

      Donald Dodds is Dead at 70. Parents John F. and Sallie Keck Dodds.
      Donald K. Dodds, 70, Orange, Calif. former resident of Fort Madison, died at 8 a.m. wednesday at the Veterans hospital, Long Beach, Calif. Mr. Dodds was born Oct 17, 1896, at Bonaparte. He lived in Fort Madison and Burlington and was an insurance representative in this area before moving to California in 1954. On Oct. 21, 1945, he married Mary Bellow of Fort Madison, who survives.
      Also surviving are two sons, Jim Dodds, who is serving with the Army at Fort Bliss, Texas, and Donald R. Dodds, Burlington; two daughters, Kathleen Cavendar, Glendale, Ariz., and Jeannie Smith, Albuquerque, N. M. and a brother, Ralph Dodds, Burlington. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
      Funeral services will be Monday at Shannon's Funeral Home, Orange, Calif. Buriel will be in the Veterans cemetery, Sawtelle, Los Angeles.
