      KEITH DODDS


      Keith Dodds, 75, of 2269 Glasgow Road, Fairfield, Iowa, died at 6:10 a.m. Monday, October 13, 1997,
      at his home.
      Born Stanley Keith Dodds on July 23, 1922 in Van Buren County, he was the son of Ralph L. and Edith Barker
      Dodds.
      Keith married Ruth Umphrey May 12, 1946 at Fairfield, Iowa. He grew up in the Harrisburg community and
      graduated from Bonapaarte High School in 1939. He lived most of his life in Van Buren County, living in Iowa City for 15 years and in Fairfield since 1973. He served in the U. S. Army Infantry in the European Theater during
      World War 11. He was a farmer and worked 15 years in the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy.
      He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Iowa City and the Elvin E. Cecil American Legion Post
      #147 of Stockport.
      Surviving are his wife, Ruth, a daughter, Daine Petarresi of Beavercreek, Oregon; a son, Chris and his wife, Bonnie Dodds of Iowa City; a grandson, Sean and his wife, Joy Hildebrandt of Portland Oregon; a brother John Dodds of
      Fairfield.
      He was preceded in death by his paarents, a sister, Geraldine Yenter and a son, Dennis Keith Dodds.
      Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 16, 1997 at the Raymond Funeral Chapel, Birmingham,
      with the Rev. Phil Campbell officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill Cemetery, Birmingham, with military
      rites by the American Legion Post #147 of Stockport.
      Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
      Arrangements were in charge of Raymond Funeral Home, Fairfield. V.B. Reg 16 Oct 1997
