  • Notes
    • The "Tuttle Burial Ground" was on the east side of the homestead next to the road. Not within the memory of the oldest resident on the Neck, has there been any other private burial ground below the hill where the old Church stood. The first settlers on this part of the Neck, including John' Tuttle (I.), lie buried in the old cemetery on the east side of the road above "Meeting-house Hill," or the site of the old Church. Not more than three generations of Tuttles lie buried in this old "Tuttle Burial Ground," which is now barely discernible. [2]
