    • From Libby's Genealogical Dictionary, Maine and New Hampshire, Lists, pg54, item 384: "Inquest, Capt Jonathan Thing, October 1694; shot by his own gun in falling from horseback," among the members of the coroner's jury are "James Skinkler...John Skinkler Jr." (brothers)

      James Sinclair, s/o John Sinclair Sr, who immigrated as an indentured prisoner of war, married Mary Scammon, a descendant of both the Waldrons and the Scammons, some of the very earliest settlers of New Hampshire.Both the Waldrons and the Scammons emigrated from Alcester, Warwickshire, England.
