  d/o Thomas MERWIN & Mary BURROUGH m1 Robert TINKER m2 Humphrey COLLINS It is felt that Mary came to this country with her son John after her second husband Humphrey Collins died in 1634.Possibly she sailed on the same ship as John Hawthorne and William Knight both of Berkshire. First she probably lived in Dorchester, Massachusetts near two daughters. Around 1640 she, John, and her married daughters moved to the new town of Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.
