    • George Adam Pack of Norton dies at age 79
      George Adam Pack of Norton died at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, 12 Jun 1966 atthe Norton County Hospital, at the age of 79. He had been in poor healthfor several years and was a resident of the Andbe Home before enteringthe hospital, Jun 6.
      Mr. Pack was the son of George Adam Pack and Mary Ellen Campbell Packand was born 19 Oct 1886 near Oronoque. He attended Distict 40 schoolsand farmed 6 miles west and 2 2 miles south of Norton on his farm untilit was sold for the dam project. He never married and had made his homewith the George Sheltons and also with the Charles Lawson family beforeentering the Andbe Home, 28 Jun 1965. Mr. Pack was a long time member ofthe Norton Old Fellow Lodge.
      He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Shelton of Norton, and anumber of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sixsisters and one brother.
      Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, 14 Jun at 1:00 p.m. fromthe Scott-Brantly Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Eppinger officiating.Burial will be in the Oronoque cemetery and there will be Oll FellowLodge Graveside Services.
      Friends may call at the Funeral Home until the funeral hour.
