      Mayme Krieger Orcutt
      February 9, 1871 -January 3, 1938
      PLAINFIELD - Mayme Krieger Orcutt, wife of C. M. Orcutt, died at her home in Plainfield Monday morning, January 3, after a long illness.
      Funeral services will be held at the Plainfield Baptist Church on Wednesday at 2:00, following a short service at Koch's Funeral Home at1:15 pm. Rev. A. O. Broyles will officiate and burial will be in Willow Lawn Cemetery in Plainfield.
      Mrs. Orcutt was born on a farm three miles south of Plainfield, February 9, 1871, and spent her entire life in and near Plainfield.
      She was married to C. M. Orcutt June 2 1902 and they began their homelife in the very home where she died.
      February 1, 1914, she became a member of the Baptist Church of Plainfield. She was a faithful wife and mother and always lived a consistent Christian life.
      Left to mourn her departure are the husband, a son Kenneth, at home, a daughter, Mrs. Russell Meyers of Waterloo; two sister, Miss Lewtie Krieger who has faithfully cared for her sister during her lingering illness; Mrs. Ida Langendorfer of Plainfield; two brothers, W. T. Kriegerof Emmetsburg; and B. A. Krieger of Winner, S. D.; also two grandchildren, Marlene and Marcile Meyers. A brother G. E. Krieger preceded her in death.
