    • OBITUARY
      Louisa L. Orcutt was born in Pittsford, Genesee county, N. Y., December3, 1826. She died in Plainfield, Iowa March 22, 1894. Her 67 years ofearthly pilgrimage were lives in New York, Illinois and Iowa. She unitedin marriage with
      Silas Farr in 1854. Thirty-nine years she has been a resident ofPlainfield,
      Iowa. When quite young age she experienced religion and joined theMethodist church and has tried to live a good christian life ever since.Forty years of happy companionship and neighbor Farr is left to travelalone. Two sons are bereft
      of a mother, one of who is in business in Plainfield. Many relatives arein this country feeling their bereavement. The funeral services werefrom the residence of her son, Bert Farr, with whom she made her home,March 23, 1894, by the
      pastor of the M. M. church. Rev. J .B. Metcalf, who uttered words oflesson and comfort from "There is but a steap between me and death" ISamuel 20-3.
