  Killed in Action 18 Jul 1918 while serving in the Marine Corp in World War1. Buried in the American Cemetery at Vierzy, Aisne, France. Later his remains were brought home to the Family Plot at Mt. Wollaston Cementer in Quincy, Mass. Sec G - Lot 192 A Small Square at Vassal St near the Beach in Wollaston was Dedicated and Named for Him. The family Lived on Vassal Street for years.
