  • Notes 
    • Olin was known as the "Boss Bark Hauler" for his feats in hauling loads of bark from Afton to East Jordan. The bark was used at the Dow Chemical Plant in East Jordan to make charcoal, tannic acid and alcohol. He was known to get up at 3:00 A.M. and start to East Jordan returning by 9:00 A.M. meeting others just on their way to town with heavy loads in the heat of the day.
