• Notes

  Joshua and his wife Mary were buried in the Armsby Cemm.. He was ablacksmith in Freetown, Bristol, MA, Rep. to the Court in 1775. Hepurchased 70 acres in Sutton, and with his son built the Old Red House.He was a major in the Rev. War, under Col. Edward Pope.
