• Notes

  Was a man of some prominence during the reigns of Henry V and Henry VI. During the latter reign he was the Under Treasurer of England. He died, leaving his wife, Eleanor, surviving. She was the daughter and co-heiress of Sir Guy de la Spine, Lord of Coughton, in Warwickshire. By this lady he had three sons and five daughters.
