  He lived in Winchester, New Hampshire most of his life. In the latter part of his life he and his wife Hannah moved to ShelburneFalls, Massachusetts to reside at time with their daughter, Angeline, and at times with their son, Dan. Grandfather Job was a farmer in a slight way, an excellent gardener or horticulturist, and at odd times a shoemaker. He was handy at many trades, a trait which was noticeably marked in all his sons who, without exception, were ingenious workmen and fine mechanics in all their various trades and occupations. Nothing better can be said of any man than was said of him -- that he was a faithful, industrious and upright man.
