    • Dr Alexander Dame studied medicine with Dr Dudley Hubbard in Dover, NH, and Berwick, ME. After completing his studies he returned to Riviere du Loup, passed the Examiners Board, and practiced there for 40 years. He served as Magistrate and Judge of the Courts, and was a devoted churchman. The Episcopal church in Riviere du Loup was the result of his almost sole effort. Family records call this the Old Stone Church.«s1 111:51»
