    • A soldier in the Revolutionary War, enlisted August 19, 1777, discharged April 10, 1781. Served at Machias under Capt William Reed and Colonel Jonathan Buck. Anecdotal evidence lists him as present at the battle of Lexington in 1775. He also helped organize a company of "minute men" in Sedgwick during the War of 1812.
