  s/o John GREENE (bef 1594 England — aft 29 Jun 1654 Kittery, Maine) & Priscilla EMERY (abt 1603 Hampshire, England — 1640 Massachusetts). They m abt 1620 in Gillingham, Dorset, England ——- This man did not die 22 April 1658. There is only one John Greene who died 22 April 1658. That John, married Perseverance, then Joane; had children John, Jacob, Abigail, (prob.) Joseph Mary. He died in Charlestown. Probate records prove most of the above information. This John Green "of Kittery" died after 29 June 1654 when he was absent from meeting but acquitted because of continued weakness, and before 1669 when his son was no longer called Jr
