    • A Cumberland Presbyterian preacher and at one time Governor of the Choctaw Nation. He was an (the only) Indian blacksmith that is known in the entire record of the Choctaws. He married Eliza Hays, and had only two sons, who died in childhood, and one daughter, who died soon after marriage.
