In 1675, John was one of several commissioners appointed to see to the construction of a courthouse in Anne Arundel Co., Maryland He was also a member of the board of commissioners of Londontown, which sat on the shores of Herring Bay, long since destroyed by fire.

Saller, John, m. by 2 Nov 1695, Mary, heir (sister?) of Richard Charlett of Patuxent river (Pro. Court WRC# 1:772). (NOTE: not real clear on this entry, but this our Joln Sollers. This is apparently right after he moved his family from Anne Arundel Co., to upper Calvert Co., near the Patuxent River.)
