  1. 1.  Noah GRANT was born on 12 Jul 1718 in Tolland, Tolland, Connecticut; died about 20 Sep 1756 in Lake Champlain, New York.

    Other Events:

    • Military Event: French-Indian War - Capt 7th Co, 2nd Reg Connecticut
    • Cause of Death: While scouting, presumably drowned

    Notes:

s/o Noah GRANT & Martha HUNTINGTON

He set out from Ft. William Henry [also in New York; the "expedition" presumably was on Lake Champlain], Sep. 20, 1756, and never returned. Although the muster roll of his Co. calls him "dead Sep. 20th," there was evidently no proof of his death, for letters of administration were not granted to his widow until 1774.

Family/Spouse: Susannah DELANO. Susannah (daughter of Jonathan DELANO and Amy HATCH) was born on 23 Jun 1724 in Tolland, Tolland, Connecticut; died on 16 Aug 1806 in Coventry, Tolland, Connecticut. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]

    Children:
    1. Noah Delano GRANT was born on 23 Jun 1748 in Tolland, Tolland, Connecticut; died on 14 Feb 1819 in Maysville, Mason, Kentucky.

Generation: 2
