Richard Warren sailed on the Mayflower in 1620, leaving behind his wife and family. Richard sailed for a second time on the Anne, presumably with his wife and children, and arrived at Plymouth in Summer, 1623. Another passenger on the Anne was Robert Bartlett, Mary's future husband.
